Default Paint Protection Film

I'm looking for a clear protective film to put on my lower rear quarter panels so that when I go to the drag strip I can peel it off after a day of racing & get all that burnt rubber off my fenders without damaging my paint. I want it to be easy on easy off, not on the car all the time. Thanks in advance for any help & suggestions.

I never gave this much thought but I'll bet you could use something like Saran wrap glued on with a soap and water mix.Watch what kind of soap you use though.Don't use dish soap oranything strong or it could soften the paint if left on for a long period of time.Maybe you could just mask off the area like you would if you were going to paint a section of the rear quarter.Use the same tape that painters use and it won't damage the paint when you peel it off.Ask a paint shop for exact brands to use.
Here's another thing to think about. What will the tech inspectors say about possible pieces of plastic sheets that might come loose? You might think about a kind of mudflap arrangement you could remove when your not at the track.Maybe a heavy coat of wax.

3M makes a clear film product that's designed to go on the leading edge of your hood, like an invisible car bra, that helps protect from stone chips. I don't think it's designed to be removed repeatedly, it's meant to stay on the car. Check out their website

I'm a big fan of 3M stuff, but I would go with Venture Shield over 3M. This stuff is top notch!!!

As for what jspagna1 is looking for in an easily removeable film to just use while racing, I can't help.
