ok well i have a sound coming from the back of my car when i start the car and i havn't yet figured the problem out becaue i havn't gotten under the car while its running....but i wanted to know if maybe the filter could be making the noise or it if would be the pump...the sound seems to be coming from the filter( or what i think is the filter...outside of the gas tank on the underside of the car with two lines going in and two coming) but i'm not sure...would replaceing eather item be good or could i get something for it....just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do about it

 

sounds like your pump. the filter wont make any noise.

 

thats what i thought but i have to replace the filter anyways it rusted to hell..i don't even want to touch it because i think it might fall apart...lol..but the fuel pump is like 89 dollars...that sucks
