best thing would be find a junked 5.0 and get its Suspension, brakes, wiring, etc. I dont think there is much you can use drivetrain wise from a 4cyl into an 8cyl cause you would just break it.

You will need a new K-Member and front suspension and brakes as well as an 8.8" rear end, a double hump crossmember and a driveshaft. You will also need the EEC for the engine too, make sure it matches your year engine and what style trans you have.

Best of luck.

This link has some good info http://stangbangerz.com/modules.php?...cle&sid=40 and no you do NOT have to swap K members, unless its an 83 or earlier model.

EDIT: Just adding another informative 4 cyl to V8site http://www.fast351.com/cartech/4cyl.htm
