I'm prolly gonna get a ton of people saying, "I use one and never had a problem" but oiled filters are not "ideal" to use with a MAF car. I havepersonally had issueswith themoiling the MAF and causing problems on customers cars.As has been stated oil can easily contaminate the MAF elementsand cause problems. I highly recommend using a dry filter. I also second vristangs statement and believe you have only temporarlyturned the light off and have not cured the problem. When the light comes back you need to have the code pulled to see whats up.
