Default tearing an engine apart, first one

Yea so i started tearing apart my 94 ford explorer because the cylinder head gaskets are blown on the one side, well we found some newer heads we're putting on it and in 2 hours we have it stripped all the way down to the valve train, this si the first engine ive torn down, well with the help of my friend, and it is not tjhat hard at all, as long as you label stuff and releasing the fluids you need to, you'll be fine, and all the right tools help i'll let u know how it goes once we get everything back together

OK so we got all teh way down to the cylidner heads, pull the exhaust manifolds and we are on our way to pulling the heads off and getting the new gaskets in, welllllll, we break 3 of the bolt heads off, 2 on the driver side and one on the passenger side, ok so we can deal with this, disconnect the exhaust piping from the headers and then cut the bolts out of the headers once we get the cylinder heads out, so we go under the vehicle to disconenct the piping, and our air impact gun wont even break the bolts loose, so we're a day behind what we wanted and now we probably have to cut teither the bolts or the piping, ah the fun of auto mechanics

next project after this, tearing the stang down, and getting some new rings in it, btw, wher can i find mustang piston rings? for a 4.6L 1996

two words for you: LIQUID WRENCH this stuff really helps break rusted nuts and bolts loose if you soak them good and let them sit awhile.
I'm sure you can get pistons and such from Summit at www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com.

PB blaster all the wya man, we got the headers off and now we have the cylinder heads and the lower intake manifold off, so we can now send em in to check for cracks in the head
