Default opinions needed... longtubes

Ok, so ive had these mac lt's layin around for a while and i still dont have an h-pipe or catback system, ive heard multiple things saying "too much work for what its worth" etc. because it is the cobra motor and there isnt much room to fit them in. My buddy has an engine hoist and were prob. capable of doing it but whats everyones elses opinion? sell the lt's and just get a cat-back with the money?

Well first make sure that they are legal where you live and that you wont be moving somewhere where the are illegal.

Second I would do the swap, you will enjoy the increased power, economy and awesome sound from the LT's. Just do some searching around for the tech articles for the install, trust me there are thousands out there, probably hundreds just chilling on this site alone.

Best of luck.

Do it. When its done you'll be glad you did. Plus, many people report the same headache level for shortys as LTs
