1st gear wheel hop? What is first gear? Ha Ha. I start off in second gear and rip threw them. But yeah first gear really isn't that bad because I don't need to rev up to 3k rpm anymore. I can take off normal in 1st and yeah they burn the tires pretty good but that might be because I have cheap tires in the rear and they need to be replaced.

They go pretty good in 3rd, but not in fourth yet. I'm pretty good at shifting too, I barely ever miss. I still have a few of my bolt on's to put on yet this week. Maybe with those I'll be able to. The throttle body and MAF along with the Densecharger will probably go on tonight. I have to wait to do the pullies. They say something about needing an air gun to take off the one bolt. Anybody know about this?

Probably talking about the Crank pully bolt. Thats a bitch to come off without an impact wrench.

they're an easy install but without that I think I might be screwed. I don't want to have to pay my friend 75 bucks to put them on, especially when I only paid 100 for the pulley's. I'll have to see if my other friend will let me use his garage. He has a lift in his garage along with all the tools necessary to do the work. About how long should it take to perform the install?

If you have the right tools I would say about an hour if you dont run into any complications such s a stripped nut or bolt or anything of the sort.

i was replying to JD in his stock redline numbers are similar to your car with 4.30s.

i am saying that i hate how long it takes the car to get into the powerband in 1st gear. plus i believe that most cars should redline 2nd right at 60 or just past it.

Its suppose to pin the tires to the ground and prevent wheel hop. I have yet to install them so Im not sure how they are going to work. [&o]
