Default blown head gasket cost

Hey guys, I got a blown head gasket on my 98 mustang v6. I need to take it to the shop and wascurious about how much this should cost me. I don't won't to getjobbed by some idiot.

Its a 98 mustang with 90000. It looks great. Do you think that is worth fixing.

Thanks in advance.

you could get a 4.2 motor out of an f150 and just drop it in, that will fix alot

get the heads milled and check to see if they are warped, use 99+ MLS style headgaskets as well

yes it is worth getting fixed that motor will run for a long time.
mustangman02232 is right about the 99+ head gaskets that will allow you to not worry about future head gaskets blowing, also if you are mechanically inclined you could change them yourself it is over head valve so it's nothing crazy to change a head gasket. however if you aren't then take it to a shop and expect to pay anywhere from $500 - over a $1000...good luck man
