Default Idle drivability problem

95 cobra idles really low 600, It will die when i stop sometimes. It starts right back up but then dies right away. It will hold a idle if i rev it up and drive for a little bit then die again after a few stops. It is worse the hotter it gets outside. If i sit at an idle for a while, after that whenever i let off the gas it makes a gurgling noise in the exhaust . Any help or ways to better describe problem is appreciated.

Do you have a MAF?
If so, it is dirty.

Get carb spray with extender tube.
Take off hose to air filter.
Locate the small venturi of the MAF.
dIRECT THE SPRAY into the venturi but dont
touch the wires inside.
Spray a bit.
Button it up.
And you should see an immediate change.

Had the same problem on my `87 Vette. The MAF was bad. I replaced it---problem solved. You could also check for vacuum leaks. That would cause erratic idle/dying also
