Look uner the hood, there will be a sticker with your plug gap specs, year, engine size etc... The gap size gives you a range, go with the lower end of the range so that as the plug wears and the electrode gets smaller you stay within specs. If you choose the wider gap, as soon as the electrode wears the gap becomes too wide, that's what I do and it works well for me.
