roll bar
hey Joe, just remember you've got a nice wife and kids to come home to from the strip so please wear the helmet, can't never tell when something could go wrong with the other guy's car causing him to run into you and tear you all up you know! that's a problem with tracks that aren't sanctioned by NHRA or IHRA, they let any fool get out there and you don't know what might happen with the car in the other lane next to you. If you don't look out for old #1, no one else will you know! LOL

they best get on the stick about doing a proper tech or the first bad accident they have and the insurance investigation following will burn their asses if they're not real lucky. keeping their insurance affordable is a prime concern in order to keep the strip open!
alot of 4 point cages don't have those bars that go down to the floor from below the support that connects the sides of the cage. You can get some cages that don't have that middle bar as well, but Im not sure if their legal for competition though.
The bar MUST have the middle, horizontal brace to be NHRA 'legal' in anything. I've never seen a good, legal roll-bar installation in anything where you had decent rear seat access. There are some being sold out there that have the back-brace bars that are bent for the rear passengers(?). These are a very crappy piece of work because if the bars are not trianglalated they work right........

thanks that pic helps a lot. I would really like to be able to have people in my backseat though. That bar seems kind of dangerous if you got in a crash? what do you think?
