corba rims + crack = weld?
Today I traded an old kenwood cd player thats been sitting in my closet for a set of 17" cobra replicas (4 lug) with a brand newtires... BUT one of them has a crack about an inch long and I was wondering if I can have it welded or do I have a buy a new rim?
Oh, and they arenotstolen. My buddy just bought a sweet 88 gt with a 5 speed for 2,400 bucks... Car has a set of really nice set of 16" pony rims, cobra intake (not installed), cold air intake, electric fans, 3:73 gears, flowmaster exhaust, saleen spolier, and a bunch of extra parts including an extra set of 3:73 geats (nib) that I'm trading him a few interior parts for....

Need a pic of the rim you are wanting to repair. Just my opinion, but I would buy a new rim. You could be taking a chance on it flying apart at high speeds, and that would not be fun.
