tires and rims

i have a '01 gt. how wide are the bullit wheels that came on it and how big of a tire can i put on it? im planning on putting some nitto 555dr on it..... thanks......

your bullit wheels are 8 inches wide. The widest you can go is 275's. You have 245's now(stock)

oh yeah, and nittos would be perfect for you because they're a tad narrower.

so what size nittos should i get, 245 or 275?

If you like a wide tire then get 275's. I have 255's and thats plenty wide for me....
