Default cold air intake question

i wanted to know if a 5.0 air intake would work with a 4 banger....i want to give my car something because i need to be able to get some more power out of it...

you could probably fit a K&N or some other aftermarket filter. i don't think you'll be making much more power though.

you can probably make your own CAI with some 4" flexible aluminum duct pipe available from Home Depot or Lowes and an air filter housing from a 5.0 wrecked car. I made a ram air system with it for my 5.0 that comes from the hole in the bumper cover where the fog light used to be.

you are wasting your time. Buy some real power adders that work such as pullies, gears, exhaust etc...

intakes will give you more miles per gallon, maybe a couple hp, but im getting just the filter from k&n, no need for the whole kit, its pretty much just for looks and a little sound. plus exhaust sound is better than intake noise.

Yeah if you cant get the right setup for your 4 banger than just get teh K&N filter and worry about the piping later on. The K&N filter is where most of the performance is at.
