unfortunately the time has come to put my car away for the winter i got a buddy who knows stangs inside n out and were gonna try and mod it up this winter. What kinda 1/4 mile times and hp would i be pushin with - mass air conversion kit, smog removal, cam, p&p the heads, shorty headers, and a new h-pipe, and a set of 3:73's?

 

I would say mid to high 13's and with perfect weather possibly low 13's.

 

depends on how you drive.. if you drive aggressily or pussylike. will you run stickies or street tires

 

I'd say low 14's on street tires, possibly on 13 second slip on stickies.

 

No way,,, even with P&P heads and a cam my buddies '92 LX 5.0 runs a 14.0 in 98* weather and that was on street tires. He also has a short throw.

 

Well your buddies LX is lighter than a GT, and it also depends on who did the port work and what was done, also what cam. Every car is different and while I think that 13's are definately possible I'd still put my money on low 14's... like 14.0 - 14.2

 

somewhere in the 13's unless the weather is very hot and humid!
