Default is something up w/ my clutch??

this always happens when I"m speeding around for fun at a light...when I shift out of first at 5000rpm or so and shift into second my rpms stay at around 4000 and then it finalls go's ....the thing is I just got a whole new tranny and clutch installed about 3 months ago....and another thing when I shift into second it feels like my rear starts floating and shimming around but I never hear my tires break loose maybe b/c its cold outside now up by me in NJ...so Idk what it could b...what do u guys think??

Sounds like your just trying to put too much power to the ground and your wheel hopping...

Does your clutch appear like it's acting up at any other times?

nah not really...its hard to do smooth shifting unless I do it slow tho b/c my clutch engages pretty hard ...its a stock ford clutch btw....so what do u suggest to stop all this wheel hopping besides suspension work

It just sounds like your trying to put too much power down and your wheel hopping so...you can fix it by keeping your foot out of it hahah...

Some really sticky tires could help it alittle, but to totally remedy the situation you'll need to work with your suspension.
