chip

I should know this, but how can I tell if my car has a custom chip? I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the engine bay.

In my 01 GT the chip wasplugged into the computer which was located in the passenger side kick panel. Not sure about the 98. Find out where the computer is and take a look.
