I got about 8,000 miles out of some KD's recently. But it depends how you drive. I was pretty aggressive on them.

I just put on KDW's on my car last week and drove over 400 miles since then and I tell you something these tires are great, right off the bat the car felt better especially taking some nice turns although like other guys said time will tell how long those tires will last me.

This is what I found for a Drag Radial:

BFG D/R
295/35/18 $225.99 TO YOUR DOOR
315/30/18 $258.99 TO YOUR DOOR

Nitto 555T D/R 305/45/18 $268.99 TO YOUR DOOR

Are these good prices? Or can I find better and if so where???

well I have nitto 555 street tires and they perform good for what they are. I have had them for 19000 miles so far and the fronts aren't warn much. the rears are almost down to the wear bars but I have dragged on them about 10 times and do some serious burnouts on the street. so if i was easy on the tires they might last say 25 - 30,000 miles. I am going to switch to the KDW-2's 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear. That should help the car stick to the road better. Im not to sure how road noise is. Im also hoping that it will be a little softer ride with the Bfg's.

I have 555 Extreme Performance and the best 60' I could get was a 2.10 every other was almost 2.20. Rather they are cold or hot as hell they hook the same. Hell, one time I ran they didn't prep the track worth a **** I was spinning going into 2nd and 3rd gear in an automatic GT.

I got a set of cheap Nitto 555 DR's, I'll let you guys know how well they work.

Hey everyone! This is my first post. I just found this forum while searching the internet for information about the "bfg kdw's" I was looking at a set today for my 94 GT mustang. I've been running "michelin xgt z4's" but I cant afford anymore right now.

Anyway, my question is this to those of you who have the bfg kdw's... there are two tread patterns. wich do you guys have and would you get the same one now?

I sure am glad I found this forum. And Thanks alot!
