Default Whats wrong with my heat?

The other day I turned on my car and then I turned on my heat but the front defroster turned on when I put it on vent. so I turned it to floor and It still only blew thru the front defroster. I've tried it on every setting EVEN AIR and the only airflow goes thru the front defroster!? what the heck is that? Has anyone ever heard of that or have any ideas as to how to fix it?

yep, it's a vacuum leakage problem for sure. start under the hood and look for the vacuum line that goes into the firewall on the side near the heater hoses and makes sure it is not loose or cracked. if this doesn't fix it, then you need to get behind the control switch panel and check back there to see if it has come loose from the rotary switch.
