Default 1984 gt-350

My dad has a 1984 1/220th anniversary Mustang GT-350. It's a really nice car, less than 30K miles..It's his baby, but the car's been sitting out in the yard for the past couple of years. It runs, and we drive it around every once and a while, but it's starting to go (air conditioning/heat don't work, interior needs work, car overheats, and other minor things)He's always dreamed of "bringing it back to life" and unleashing the true power of the car out on the open road, but he hasn'y had the time or money to work on it.

For his birthday, I wanted to fix the car up for him, maybe add a couple mods or something, I'm not sure..I was originally saving up to do a few things to my Mustang, but I've decided to put that money in to his car instead..

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I could do I would greatly appreciate it. I'm kinda just looking into things now, so I'm not sure where to begin or how to go about doing it. It's a surprise for my dad, so I can't ask him for help so I turned to you guys. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hint at a few things, like casuallyask him what his exactplans are for the car and what he wants to do with it first. BTW, what is your budget? Also, I've got to hand it to you...putting your money towards his car instead of yours shows A LOT of discipline.

thanks..he's going to be 50 so I wanted to get him something nice. Right now I have around $2000 but his birthday isn't for a while so by then I'm thinking I'll have around $3000 when all is said and done. I'll try to find out what he wants and get back to you on that. Thanks for your help

No problem man...its always cool to have parents that are into Mustangs. My dad loves them too! That's a pretty healthy budget, so I'm sure you'll find plenty to do with it.Even though you will be putting $ into his car, I am sure you will get to drive it. It's not everyday you see a 4 eye Fox rollin around.
