Default clutch issue

got a 67 with a 351 and a hydraulic 5 speed. it is a hydraulic clutch and i noticed there is hydraulic fluid leaking in the cabin right at the boot at the bottom of the clutch pedal. reverse is not working at the moment and the resevoir is not yet dry either though. i was pumping the clutch a bit last night and it did get stuck on the floor... i pulled it back up and tried again... it came back up butit is extremely sticky.
please,
i need any help i can get on this to get in the right direction. everything on this car is custom and the owner has since died so i dont have all the information on what parts he used... i will post pics when i get back home so you can see what i mean. this car has been in my posession about a day now and needs some tlc and i am not really a mustang buff...
