well its a long story heh, they went hot. they were from my friends car... he parted it out for some personal reasons, and he hooked me up... after i put on my TB after i let off the gas my rpms stick around 1700 for about 5 secs and then slowly run done to idle... do u know why this happens by chance? thx

 

three things could be contributing to this problem. one is the IAC, idle air control, mounted on the throttle body. pull it and clean it good with some carb cleaner and reinstall it. also with engine off open the throttle 100% and see how much crud is built up behind the throttle butterfly and clean this out also if necessary. also check the voltage output from the TPS sensor on the throttle body and set the voltage on it to .98-.99 volts with the throttle closed and key on but engine off and see if this doesn't help things some too.
