Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S Tires
Just wondering if anyone ever runs Pirelli's and what you think of them. I am thinking about these tires. Tell me what you think. Remember that I live in OK so snow and other bad weather is a concern. (and no I can't just going to store it for the winter.

They came stock on some Saleens, and they ran beautifully, but as far as durability and tread life...[:'(]. My next set of tires will be BF Goodrich, simply because the Pirellis are expensive and short on lifespan, even though they perform fantastically.
Saleen used Perelli P zero Rosso's on all their current cars, not the Nero. The Rosso is an all season performance tire. The Nero is also an all season tire, but it has a different compound than the Rosso. The Rosso is stickier, and is a better tire in the dry vs. the Nero. The Nero is made for a little more life. -And I do believe that is the tire on the new 05 gt's, which makes sense. The Rosso is a lot better tire averall, except for tire wear. I wouldn't put the nero on my mustang, but the Rosso i might. I still think the Bridgestone SO3 is a better rain tire than the Rosso. The Rosso gets the nod in the dry. For dry performance, there are A LOT of tires that are better than the Nero and Rosso. On my current Saleens, after the stock rubber has worn out, I have never gone back to Perelli rubber, simply because other options exist that are better.
On thetirerack.com both the tires you named have lower ratings (on tread wear at least) than the neros.
