Default fuel filter replacement

I know I should have done it many thousand miles ago, but I was wondering if not changing the fuel filter could result in the motor missing. It doesn't do it often, but I think this could be the issue. My car is somewhat rough at idle. What do you all think? I am planning on getting a new one next week.

Default RE: fuel filter replacement

If its severly clogged, maybe. But when you get it changed i would suggest finding a place to service your full fuel syetem. the cheap route would be to start running fuel system cleaner through your car but that doesnt clean nearly as well.
