Is possible to add a 351 fuel injected engine to a 2000 mustang gt? Do the factory speedometer still fuctional? What computer do I need to purchase or the gt computer works? Any one make this conversion?

As for the speedo.. what tranny did you want to use?

You can probably use the computer from the vehiclethe 351 engine came from (a truck?)

 

You can buy an aftermarket computer to take care of anything you need. www.fordfuelinjection.com has a summary of computers available.

 

Just make sure it's OBDII or it's illegal...not that my car isn't anyway.

why would that be illegal, sorry if it is a stupid question, but i didnt know certain engine swaps could be.

 

saleen 99 and 00 comes with a 351. I want to make that setup but I don't know how to add that engine and the cluster and computer still working. I am betwwen 2003-04 mach 1 engine or a high perf 351 fuel injected.
