3" Racing Crank Pulley??
Who has done an underdrive pulley set with the 3" crank? im considering doing the march setup with it and wanted to know if its worth and and the benefits of it. from what i hear the car will rev up alot quicker.
The difference in performance with pulleys isn't much. That being said,I have a Steeda set with a timing adjuster.Pulleys allow the accessories to turn at a lower rpm, saving the bearings and seals from undue wear. This isn't the only benefit but it is a valid one.The power increases are there but they aren't as apparent at low rpm.
The wear issue was made apparent when the water pump went 150,000 miles without leaking a drop in my Lincoln MK VIII.The other accessories all did the same with the exception of the alternator and it crapped because of an electrical fault.
