Default RE: 3" Racing Crank Pulley??

The difference in performance with pulleys isn't much. That being said,I have a Steeda set with a timing adjuster.Pulleys allow the accessories to turn at a lower rpm, saving the bearings and seals from undue wear. This isn't the only benefit but it is a valid one.The power increases are there but they aren't as apparent at low rpm.

The wear issue was made apparent when the water pump went 150,000 miles without leaking a drop in my Lincoln MK VIII.The other accessories all did the same with the exception of the alternator and it crapped because of an electrical fault.
