My dome light went out. I was looking to get a bright white light , instead of that stock yellowish light . Does anyone know where i could get one? Looked at autozone and o'reilley, but all they have is reg. stock light. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

I work at a lighting company that specializes in miniature lamps (automotive). You probably saw our brand at O'Reilly. I see that the 97 Mustang takes a 562 bulb for the dome light. In this style of light bulb at the voltage you need there is one bulb that we carry that is brighter. The part number is JF135100XE. I checked and O'Reilly has never purchased this from us before.

This JF135100XE isn't going to be whiter but it would be a little brighter.
If you are interested the only way I can think of doing this is me ordering them for myself and mailing them to you because I don't see anybody who has bought this that would sell it to you. The other drawback would be that I can only get this bulb in a pack of 10 pieces and all 10 bulbs would cost about $3.50 total.
