Dome light is staying on after I lock my doors and it stayed on while I was driving. Both of my doors were completly shut. Also when I lock my doors, normally push the button once and it locks and push again and it honks once, now it is push button once it locks and push once again and it honks twice and my dome light stays on. Any ideas? Thanks

 

is the tab that pushes the switch in the door bent back alittle, inside the fender sitting in the car you should see where the switch pushes in, thats where i would start

 

I had the same problem but it was with my ranger, my dome light stayed on to and i solved the problem i tracked down my wire that lead to the dome light and cut it now it doesn't stay on.
