i have a 95 5.0 gt a with a optima red top batteryand I just movedthe battery to the trunk with a summit racing relocation kit, i connected the new power cable to the 2 cables up front and ran a ground under the car and bolted it to a clean spot on the frame, now when i try to start the car it wont start, all the lights and everything come on but it wont fire up. even when jumped it wont start but if i connect ajumper cable to the exhaust and to the neg. side it will start. i cant figure out why it wont work. did i forget to do something? hasanyone ran into this before? thanks

 

Are you sure its a clean spot?

 

yeah i fount a bolt threaded into the frame and i bought a brand new bolt and wire wheeled the area, andits a 12mm bolt

 

Did you mess with your starter wires or starter solenoid wires?

 

oh and how much did that relocation kit cost you??

 

i figured it out, i am retarted. i forgot to re-ground the engine when i took the battery terminal out. its all set. the kit was $70 from summit, thanks
