Default Ignition coil question

im looking at some high performance ignition coils. im looking at two different brands.

The two brands bolth have the same maximum voltage. The first brand has a slightly higher primary resistance but a noticably lower secondary resistance, but a much lower turn ratio. The second brand has the lower primary but higher secondary resistance but also has a much higher turn ratio.

I understand the concept of resistance in wiring and electrical devices, but what is meant by secondary resistance? also what is turn ratio, i dont know anything about that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Im looking at a V-6 application, its for street use. nothing fancy, nothing fancy, just some minor mods to tweek the daily driving performance. im not looking to use them for racing or anything. What ignition coil will give me better performance?

Default RE: Ignition coil question

OK, let me simplify this.

Whats better? MDS Blaster Coils, or ACCEL performance coils.

Default RE: Ignition coil question

I like Mallory myself. For one on my 67, had it for YEARS, not a single problem. I've heard MSD coils are noisy
