How do you install a power window motor on 1992 stang
[sm=smiley7.gif]Need help in installing power window motor on a 1992 stang.I last did that back in 1972 on my then 1968 t-bird I was a flexible young man then but I got it fixed. I just don't remember the procedure.thanks

not much has changed, you have to take two large screws out of the bottom side of the armrest first. then take the cover plate off the swtich panel for the windows and door locks and pull the switches out and unplug them both. then remove the cover plate for the door speaker and remove it and unplug the speaker wiring. then go around the outside edge of the door panel and carefully pry the plastic clips loose with a stiff putty knife or tool made for this purpose. carefully lift the panel up and remove it to the side out of the way. carefully peel back the oiled paper and you can now see the motor and unplug it, then remove the two screws, think it's just two, that hold it in place and drop it on out. replace the motor and work your way back reverseing the steps you did to get into it.
