OK, here is the story: My friend was in an accident that damaged his front bumper. At first he was going to pay for the repairs himself and ordered a new bumper. Then it was discovered that the damage was more expensive than first thought and he decided to just have insurance cover it. Now he is stuck with an extra body piece we need to unload. What is avenue you guys would recommend for selling it? If anyone knows of something specific to the Seattle area that would be great but just a general idea to get me headed in the right direction is much appreciated.

 

get the place to include a bumper in the quote but dont buy one...

 

He shoulda just forked over the extra cash for the bumper. Now his insurance rates are gonna go up minorly, but hell end up paying more every month and thats no good...

 

He DID buy the bumper because initially that was all that seemed to be wrong. But then it was discovered there was some damage to the exhaust and frame which was a lot more $$$ than he had so he passed it off to insurance. Maybe there could have been some way to get the insurance money and keep it instead of using it on another bumper but the car has already been fixed and now we got an extra bumper that needs to be unloaded.

It's from a 2002 Lancer, I suppose the classified section might be a good place to go on this site since I see someone is selling a TV there. Already gave it a run on eBay, didn't seem to be much demand for the part cuz it didn't sell but maybe im just not slick enough at selling.
