I have a 2000 v6 mustang, every now and then the gauges stop working and the car won't start. Eveything works, spark, good comp, engine cranks and fuel pump turns on, but the car won't start. At first, it will start for a sec and the shut off, after that, all it does is crank. The four smaller gauges like the fuel, voltage, temp, and oil will pulse back and fowarth when the car is off. When is sits for about 2-3 hours, it starts no problem. This problem only happens once in a while.... very random. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
