Well when i got my car it had a ****ty aftermarket tach installed that didnt work. I threw it in the trash but the stock tach doesnt work. I have a carbed 351w with a crane hi-6 ign box. I was wondering what color the tach wire is on the back of the tach so that i could just run it to the tach wire on the ign box. Any help would be great. Thanks

 

forget the stock tach jus tgo buy a autometer tach and be done with it

 

Yeah well im kinda broke as a joe right now so i just wanted something to get me by. Suck trying to adjust your carb and set timing when you cant even see what your idle rpm is.

 

I hear ya. I tune my carb and timing with a vacum guage
