is it worth putting a stroker kit 331 or 347 on a stock block

Depends on what you're going for. I would say yes, just for the increase in cubes and power, even leaving everything else the same. Stroker kits aren't overly expensive, if you have to replace those parts anyway.

It's generally accepted the stock blocks are good for about 450-500 flywheel hp or thereabouts, so as long as you don't plan on going over that then yeah, stock block is fine
