I doubt you save any gas as your more likey to stomp on it more...

 

All other factors being equal, bolt ons add power/torque/gas milage.

But gas milage usually goes down because people get addicted to the new pick up they have and hit the loud pedal harder.

Just agreeing, but if they don't mash on it, gas milage will go up.

That is one of the biggest myth's concerning cars ever...</P>

 

Bigger is better....up to the point where exhaust VELOCITY starts to decrease.

Back pressure is an old wives tale people.
