All other factors being equal, bolt ons add power/torque/gas milage.

But gas milage usually goes down because people get addicted to the new pick up they have and hit the loud pedal harder.

jeep...it sure will..but it's hard to do...one needs a v-6 stang if worried about mpg</P>

Bigger is better....up to the point where exhaust VELOCITY starts to decrease.

Back pressure is an old wives tale people.
