1999 Mustang 3.8L here...

Can anybody shed light on how long it takes the cars computer to indicate OBD2 system readiness? I just failed inspection because I replaced my battery the night before. I hear that the time frame can be anywhere between 2 hours and 2 weeks.

depending on the vehicle...a normal rule of thumb is 300-500 miles...
