Default 4 banger springs

so what exactly does putting in 4 bang front springs do?

would i get springs from the same year as my car or would any 4 bang year work? how much on the quarter mile would it help?
how will it effect daily driving?
thanks

i have them in my 4 banger (imagine that eh), and i gotta say, i wonder why they didnt make those puppies optional on v8 cars cause this bitch will pull the front up good and it squats hard.

will it make the front end drop any? if so how much? i want it to look stock. approx. how much should i pay for a pair? do they have to come from the same car cause there is a place called All Ford near my house and its a ford salvage yard that has everything but most likely the coils i get will be from different cars.

shouldnt look a whole lot different. i personally wouldn't pay more than like ten or twenty bucks for a pair. it shouldn't matter what car each is from, but one could be more worn than another if it was driven in different conditions (but its probably not too likely)

Couldn't you put the 4cyl. springs in the rear instead of the front? That way, you would still have better weight transfer and your front end wouldn't sag because of the weaker springs.
I though people only replaced the rear springs anyways.

Sine they might be softer springs they will lower a heavy car more. Good for drag racing for weight transfer.
