Window stuck down...
Are there multiple reasons for a window to get stuck down? My window was working fine about 20 minutes ago, i go to the car wash and BANG the window wont roll up! The passanger side still works and as far as i can tell, everything else electronical works as well. I took off the door pannel and listened to the sounds it made everytime i tried to roll it up or down...it makes a clicking sound when i try to roll it down but no sound when i try to roll it up...PLEASE HELP I LIVE IN FL AND ITS GOING TO RAIN FOR THE NEXT WEEK!!!
I found that you can get the window moving again
by holding the UP button and pounding
on the door panel near where the
motor is.
That is assumming it is stuck all the way down.
I think it is the contact that opens the electrical
connection when the window travels to the END
of the travel to prevent power draw.
This is usually associated with the motor.

i was having the same problem, Completely puzzled as to why it wouldn't go up. Thought, whatever its a Ford (cuz all my motorcycles are Rice Burners and my truck is a Toyota)
But one lit smack over the motor location and Zip, up she went . I sure am glad I didn't pay some jack *** mechanic to fix that. Woulda wasted his time too
