cant turn immobiliser/alarm off

Default cant turn immobiliser/alarm off
hi i have a 98 3.8v6 convertible,i disconnected the battery yesterday,and when i reconnected the alarm/immobiliser is constantly on,hence i cannot start the car as it wont turn over,i think the alarm is factory i have two seperate remote fobs,they both lock/unlock the doors still but wont disable the alarm,the fobs say trw on the back.
please help as it is memorial weekend,everywhere is shut and i am getting p****d off with the stupid thing.....

With some aftermarket alarms you need to turn the key to "run" position before reconnecting the battery. Try that
