Default 3.6 Swap to v8

I have a 1998 Mustang 3.6 Liter V6. I want to put a V8 into my mustang. I was wondering if i could recieve a price range on this and if it would be worth it.

Hi & welcome to MF. That is a VERY popular question, and if you do some searching you will find a lot of detailed info here.

Bottom line though,, if you have to hire a mechanic/garage to do the work then it's gonna cost around $4000 to $5000 for a BASIC conversion, depending onhow lucky you can get with getting cheap parts. It almost always cheaper and a LOTeasier to sell the car & buy one with the engine you want already in it.

you can do anything you want as long as you have the money

if you want more power, then look at swaping in a 4.2 out of a ford f150 or a 3.8 supercoupe motor
