my coolant was like that too. i drained all the brown crap out, then filled it with just water. ran it to normal temp and drained the water out and then just put in the 50/50 mix. it worked fine and my coolant is the normal green color. : )

good lookin out guys, I'm going to replace the rad, and the t-stat. Do you guys have any paticular rad that's better that oem. Thanks.

i know around here the becool radiators sell really good. im not sure if they make one for the mustang but im sure they would. if not you could always try the ford racing radiator that i saw from summit.

Brown radiator water is a good indication of a blown head gasket to so be very careful with that

Check out Summit Racing for your radiator. They have BeCool like CT mentioned and that's a really good brand but there are a lot of other options as well.

Im using your basic 3 row rad and a 180 stat. No problems here. Gauge reads a bit below 1/2 at all times.
