well I would say..buy it yourself...9700 for a 92 is rather high..if your dad is paying for your car and ins..just be happy you have it and drive it til you buy your own..

I kinda agree with vfast on the price. It seems a little high. I found my '91 for $3K. It had a few more miles on it than that one though. But with the same options. It didn't have any performance parts, but had new alternator, brakes, ac clutch, radiator fan, MAF, all put on right before I bought. This car wasn't driven in the winter either. Virtually no rust and in perfect condition inside and out. I'd look around a bit more for some other '91-'93's. If you are good a jewing, and really want the car, talk to the guy and see what he'll come down to. On the other side of things, I'd rather have the 92 5.0 over a newer V6 mustang. I think they'll hold their value much better in the future.

yea i wouldnt pay anywhere close to 10k for a 92 5.0. take my advice and buy an un modded 94-95 gt. they are much better looking and there is alot of them around.

Just a question Why buy something just to store it? Why not buy one later on when you do not need to beg your dad to give you the go and get one when you become your own man and will be able to drive the s**t out of it. Belive me there are plenty of them out there and many for less than that in just as good of condition.
