Well as I announced yesterday I got ripped off by steeda with an empty box full of 125.00 worth of nothing.

Last night was window tinting and the local shop around here decided they would overheat my windshield and they put a 8 inch crack in it. However they referred me to there local place of buisness auto shop and they are replacing it for me.

 

dang thats crazy, they usually don't use heat unless its cold and then only a blowdryer [&:] musta been freezing outside

 

that sucks...125 dollars of nothing...are you going to get what you piad for and good thing that if you have certain insurance no matter what happens to your windsheild they will replace it for free no higher insurance or anything...had it done to my parents 1996 ford ranger...we got it like that but the insurance replaced it for free...

 

your windshield is cracked? are you putting a tint strip on it? side windows and rear windows are tempered so they dont crack, they shatter.

 

damn dude, if it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all! LOL

If you aren't good at putting the tint on you will get air bubbles. Heat will help remove them by shrinking the tint. Sounds to me like the people tinting the windows suck.

First things first tint...The tint shop here isextremly reputable and I have been going to them for years, must have been my bad luck, and yes I did have a sun strip put on thats why the windshield cracked. It was about 4 degrees the night I had them tinted.

As for the Steeda problem I have, I have been told I need to talk to erik there and I was given a # for him and have been trying to call him for 2 days, my 3rd streak of bad luck him not answering or is it still part of bad luck #1?? haha...hope all this non sense pans out.
