Well as I announced yesterday I got ripped off by steeda with an empty box full of 125.00 worth of nothing.

Last night was window tinting and the local shop around here decided they would overheat my windshield and they put a 8 inch crack in it. However they referred me to there local place of buisness auto shop and they are replacing it for me.

Sounds to me like you got some lousy tint specialist.....Never heard of them having to heat the windows....What i usually do is this....I clean my windows off until i couldn't possibly get them any cleaner then i only use water.......Cut the tint until matches my window....I usually leave extra so i can get the perfect fit....Place it on there quickly...because as soon as you put it on there you will have only a few seconds to get it where you want it to be....Next i smooth it out and finally I usually cut it alittle below my window so it won't come off when i close my doors...Let that sucker sit that way for 2 or 3 days then you can roll your windows down....I refuse to pay some people for things i can do myself....

You couldn't wait until spring or summer before you decided to get a sun strip put on?
cut him some slack man, around here the winter sun is just brutal during the morning rush hour especially if you have to drive east right into it with it just barely above the trees. I use a stick-on interior vinyl sun strip on mine just for that reason.
Well..ok then...I would have waited until the temperature was above freezing then.
Just because you pay some place to work on your car, doesn't alway mean they know what they are doing..
