I changed out the spark plugs with some autolite platinums and gaped them to .052. I thought this might solve the skipping problem but it didn't. I decided to go to the parts store and get the car scanned. The only codes that it gave were (P1151 Manfacurer Contrl. Fuel Air Metering). The guy there told me that this code wouldn't be causing the car to skip like that. And said if it were misfiring it would give a code for that. What else could be the problem that I can try before spending alot of money to take it to a shop? Thought it might be a bad coil..?..anyway of finding which one it could be?
