Just wondering how many of you folks out there still change oil at 3k? I know I don't - around 5k for me. Used to go 7k when I ran synthetic.
Oil companies want you to think that its best to change oil at 3k for long life, when in fact since the oils and engines of today are much better designed most manufacturers recommend 5-7k intervals - some even 12k oil changes with synthetic.
What do you do, and what do you think?
