Blah, we aren't really answering his question. I would recommend centrifugal for 3 reasons. Because the twin-screw is not one of your options, sorry, I just wanted to get that to the rest of the people posting. 2, Because a centrifugal is relativly cheap & adaptable, & 3 because It has a boost range in your powerband.

guys you arent being fair, the dude says he cant swap and wants to build up his V6. lets just help him.

a mustang V6 makes poopy power, but the good part is like any american engine they have lots of potential.

i suggest before you supercharge it, or if you do, consider stroking your engine down the line. a stroked and bored V6 makes A SH-TLOAD of torque and lots of power. its also a lot easier to make them rev higher because of the lighter rotating assembly.

i would get the best heads out there and do a lot of engine work before the supercharger. alot of people dont understand the potential a V6 has.

stroke the 3.8 to 4.2 litres and you are not far off from the displacement of the 4.6. and because you have less cylinders, your bores and strokes must be greater so this equates to assloads of torque. i say go for the hop up first, and then supercharge. you will be making lots of power trust me.
