Default E-brake is failing!!!!

I have a 99' v6 stang which I have noticed recently the E-brake is failing. Today I parked it on a slight incline with the car not in gear and it would very very slowly creep backwards while I was still in it. I have noticed also that if I look directly down to where the E-brake actually is, the metal where a screw is supposed to be holding the base down I assume, is...well....the screw ripped all the way through the metal. It looks as if it was pulled up on extremely hard alot thus causing it to rip through but I never do that so???

Anyway.....How much to fix this whole problem? Thanks.

Not sure how much the parts would cost,, are you doing your own labor?

Personally I never trust the e-brake alone in holding my car parked on a hill, or hell even on a flat parking space I always leave it in gear.
