Default Brakes pull hard to the side

My front brakes on the GT pull inconsistently hard from time to time. Seems like:

-usually pulls hard left but seems like it sometimes pulls hard right instead
-only first few miles or stops, won't do it after several brake applications / stops
-doesn't happen every day
-doesn't seem to realte to tire pressure or break wear. I only have like 16k miles on the GT.
-doesn't seem to relate to ABS

Strange?

either calipers are hanging and/or I would install some braided brake lines

If it pulls both ways, it sounds like you have either warped rotors, or your have a caliper that is grabbing sooner than others..

Its the calipers...i had the same problem. They're not touching the same time. Take it to a shop and it will be fixed quick

axle seal...? maybe..? doesnt that do it since it leaks on your brakes.

it could but the wheel cyl. would most likely be it in the rear

what I think is happening is the brake line at the caliper is colapsing

Thanks for the replies. They all sounds reasonable. I still have things on my mind like why on a car with only 16k miles, why does it only do it some times.

Also, a few times when I did first get this '02 stang (in '04) with 2,700 miles on it, I did see a tiny think line of very dark gress on the 5-star front driver's rim. This happened a couple of time.

Sounds like no matter what I have to hope the weather warms up and pull the whole thing apart. I've never noticed any probs when just rotating the tires. I'll have to do a deaper inspection now.

Thanks.

Is it still under warranty?
